House Democratic Leader Christine Greig sworn in as representative for 37th House District

LANSING — House Democratic Leader Christine Greig (D-Farmington Hills) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 37th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Greig issued the following statement:

“This year marks a new beginning for our state, and the opportunity under new leadership to get to work making life better for working families everywhere. Michiganders made it clear they are counting on us to fix their roads, clean their water, strengthen their public schools and make their health care affordable. House Democrats are ready to roll up our sleeves and work with anyone willing to put people over politics to get things done.”
